In February, I started the process of making plushies for future markets that I would like to do this summer. I learned a lot from my first market in November. This time I am focusing on smaller plushies. By doing this I will have more products at lower prices. I am hopeful that these will be more eye appealing for kids, as well as their parents who don't want their children to have too many big stuffed animals. I am trying to focus on plushies that will fit in the palm of your hand.
In April and May, I made keychains that I can hang on a spinning display. I have been able to make multiples of different types and colors! I have been seeing other crocheters having big success with their keychains. I am also planning on making some "reusable water balloons."
Life has been a challenge the past couple months with market prepping, being a temporary single mom while my husband is deployed, juggling my children's schedules, and also dealing with multiple colds. I am hoping to have my first market of the year this month... if everything goes as planning (when does anything honestly go as planned as a mom?! HA!). For now I will finish making keychains and start making some smaller stuffed animals. Below are some of the keychains I currently have completed! I have made frogs, poke balls, whales, and gummy bears.
